About Me: I’m that “Jack of all trades” guy that can do nearly everything and do it well, while also understanding sometimes not everyone has the budget for the highest quality work (ex: repairs on rental units.) Safety, however, is always number one. No shortcuts there.
As a mid 60’s semi-retired fella, my main focus is on small jobs - the endless little things that need repair or replacement. See the list of example items below.
While I have done many full kitchen and bath remodels, that is no longer my focus. If you’re unsure if I’m the right guy, simply call or send me an email detailing what you need done and I'll let you know if I can do it properly.
What I Offer: I have versatile skills and knowledge to offer homeowners who need work and repairs around the home. I’ve remodeled homes from top to bottom, with skills and experience generally above average. I'm good at problem solving and yet I know when to draw the line and say it's time to call a specialist. I can do nearly everything in a home, from painting, drywall repair, basic electrical and plumbing, doors, windows, flooring, etc.
My Rates
Minimum charge is $200. Hourly Rate is $100/hr.
If you have a singular repair needed, such as installing a kitchen backsplash, installing vinyl plank flooring in a living room or replacing a front door, I am more than happy to give you a firm quote.
Most often, however, I get calls from folks with a “honey-do list” of items they need fixing/repairing and in those cases it doesn’t pay to quote for every single little item, especially when they keep adding to the list while I’m there! For those jobs, I simply charge by the hour. I have a mobile phone app that keeps track of my time to the minute. See my set rate jobs here.

Testimonial
“I’ve employed Brett on several occasions over the past six months to do handyman jobs at my home, some small, some moderately large. He is very reliable, highly skilled in his tradecraft, honest, fair and really easy to get along with. He explains in detail what he will do, provides a good estimate of the time it will take him to complete the job and the cost. Furthermore, he’s gone above and beyond what I hired him to do on many occasions. If he recognizes a problem that perhaps you were not aware of, he takes care of it after consulting you. I’ve been through scores of handymen over the past ten years and I wish I’d met Brett long ago because he is the best I’ve experienced.”
